Private International Law under Turkish law
Where a party is a foreign national, lives abroad or the case has links to another state, the competent court, the applicable law and the effect of foreign decisions must be determined separately.
In Türkiye, these questions are mainly governed by Act No. 5718 on Private International Law and International Civil Procedure (MÖHUK).
